Opening Ceremony

A new Prayer Room at RAF Wittering has been officially opened.

Located in the Chaplaincy Centre, the Prayer Room will cater for Muslim service personnel on the station.

Rev (Sqn Ldr) Adrian Dyer said: “We have quite a number of Muslims at the Station and previously there wasn’t somewhere for them to go at pray times. However, this now means they have somewhere to go for Friday Prayers or indeed at any time they wish.”

The opening ceremony was attended by the Station Commander, Grp Cpt Richard Hill.
